Justin Hickey had a quick night winning his match by TKO in the first round, while Kris McCray had a dominating performance over his opponent also winning by knockout in the second round, and Tyler Bowers wins the GFC Lightweight Title defeating his opponent by unanimous decicion. Gold Medal Grappling has opened the doors to a new World Class Training Facility that is over 5,000 sq ft. The new place has more mat space,weightlifting gym,more bags and equipment,locker rooms with showers,lounge,team room and much more soon to be added. This new gym seems to come straight out of a martial artists dreams!! The new gym is located in the same parking lot as before at the back right corner of Hanco Center.

Gold Medal Grappling dominated last nights Battle FC walking away from the night 3 - 0. Elder Ramos started off the night with a brutal 2nd round knock out to defend his light heavy weight title. Brian Robey continued the winning streak with strong ground and pound and a nice arm triangle submission victory in the 2nd round to move him into title contension. Matt Stemmler finished out the night with 3 rounds of technical striking and impressive take downs to win his MMA debut via Unanimous Decision.
